A Personal Investment
Building bl33p has required significant sacrifice. This project is fully self-funded, supported by my family's commitment to the vision. We have reinvested personal assets to ensure we have the independence to develop this product thoroughly, without the immediate pressure of external financial demands. This allows us to focus entirely on quality and integrity, rather than short-term gains.
The Impetus
bl33p was born from a frustrating reality. My wife and I have observed a worrying trend in the modern economy: the cost of living rises while wages stagnate, and employees are increasingly treated as expendable. People are not commodities.
The turning point came during a conversation with my grandmother. She told me, "It's so hard to just get someone on the phone to talk to." She was right. Whether it is power companies, councils, or government agencies, customers are often met with endless queues and automated messages. We have all heard, "All our lines are busy," or faced wait times of nearly an hour, only to hang up in frustration.
This is not the standard we should accept. You are the reason businesses exist, yet major corporations seem to have forgotten that simple fact.
The Human Cost
Last year, I took a role managing a retail store. The excitement faded quickly. For the first time in my career, I felt undervalued from day one. I encountered a workplace culture where respect was absent, and experience was dismissed. I found myself unable to advocate for better standards without facing resistance. I resigned after six days because I could not compromise on my values.
That experience clarified what I refuse to accept, both for myself and for others.
The Goal
