10th of April, 2026 - Next Steps
In our previous update, we shared the why behind bl33p. We talked about respect, communication, and the need for a better standard in this industry. Today, we want to share the how. Ideas are important, but they mean nothing without the infrastructure to support them. Over the last month, we have been heads-down, building the systems that will allow us to deliver on our promises.
The Infrastructure
There are no shortcuts to building a service that truly puts people first. We needed to ensure that every backend system was stable, secure, and ready to handle customer needs from day one. This isn't outsourced work; it is the result of direct, hands-on development to ensure the vision isn't diluted.
Here is what we have accomplished in the last 30 days:
- Secured our identity: Purchased the domain name and established our online home.
- Established hosting: Purchased server space and hosting to ensure speed and reliability.
- Launched the website: Built, revised, and refined https://bl33p.co.nz to be clear and accessible.
- Set the rules: Drafted and added a Fair Use Policy and Privacy Policy to ensure transparency.
- Defined the offer: Added a clear list of current mobile phone plans.
- Opened the doors: Updated the website to start accepting registrations of interest from customers.
- Created resources: Added a knowledgebase and began writing articles to help users help themselves.
- Built support channels: Added a support ticket system to track and resolve issues efficiently.
- Organized communication: Added incoming email sorting and ticketing to ensure no message is lost.
- Opened the line: Added an incoming support phone number so you can speak to a human.
The Effort Behind the Scenes
Each of these ten items represents hours of configuration, testing, and refinement. I have personally built and developed every component listed above. This was not a case of clicking a few buttons on a template; it was a substantial investment of time and effort to ensure that the systems work the way they should.
Why does this matter? Because when you build something yourself, you take ownership of its flaws and its strengths. There is no passing the buck to a third-party developer when something goes wrong. If a phone line rings, I know exactly where that call goes. If a ticket is lodged, I know how it is sorted. This level of control allows us to maintain the quality and respect we promised in our mission statement.
Next Steps
The foundation is now laid. The policies are in place, the support lines are open, and the website is ready. We are now moving into the next phase of welcoming our first customers.
Thank you for watching this space. We are building this for you, and we are building it to last.
